How it Works

Step 1 - Find out what's going on

The first step is to complete a Physiotherapy assessment which may include assessing joint range of motion, muscle strength, functional movement and posture. The point of a thorough assessment is to determine the cause of your injury and identify potential factors that can increase your chance of re-injury.

Step 2 - Develop a rehab plan

Now that we know whats going on, its time to take action. You'll be given corrective exercises to increase mucle strength, improve joint range of motion and decrease pain. To make sure your rehab program is efficient and effective, we'll use hands-on Physiotherapy treatments such as soft tissue massage, dry needling and western acupuncture, cupping and joint mobilisation/manipulation.

Step 3 - Stay injury free

You're feeling better, let's keep it that way! It's time for the fun stuff. You'll be given a strength and conditioning program for maintenance of your current injury and prevention of further injuries. Your program will include exercises designed around you, your sport/training and your goals. It's all about injury prevention and increasing performance regardless of your sport/training.
